The Ladysmith Siege Weekend with Campaign Trails

Visit the historic town of Ladysmith to experience the activities of the Siege Weekend witih crafted programme and expert guidance, experiencing the unique Gun Run of the Swartkop Challenge
Our proposal includes:-

• Thursday
• Arrival in the evening at comfortable ensuite accommodation
• Friday:
• Meeting with guide and a background history brief after breakfast
• Visit to the world-renowned Siege Museum
• Visit to Tchrengula or to Spioen Kop for guided tour and appreciation of the Tugela Line
• Visit Wagon Hill to see the team practice
• Saturday:
• Experience the feats of the competing teams during their challenge agaist the Hill, the Gun and the Clock.
• Agaist the Hill, the Gun and the Clock.
• Guests of VIP pavillion
• Sunday:
• Join service of worship at All Saints where transept is a memorial to all the British fallen in the defence and relief of Ladysmith
• Lunch at Platrand Lodge
• Afternoon excursion to Little Niagra
