Directions to the Swartkop Challenge

From N3 South Pietermarizburg and Durban

Pass Ultra City services and the exit to Bergville and Colenso to the next exit after the Tugela kopjes and this is signed Ladysmith N11. You will join the R103 that has right of way (in spite of its inferior colour on the map), then:-

From N3 North Harrismith

Ignore the R103 exit and proceed to the Bergville exit from the N3 and go East on the N11 towards Ladysmith. You will join the R103 that has right of way (in spite of its inferior colour on the map), then:-

Follow the road towards Ladysmith and you will pass the traffic inspection depot on the left and will see the rifle range on the right under the slopes of Wagon Hill. Take the left slip EXIT which will lead you to a 4-way stop. Go Right to Ladysmith and after passing under a bridge you will see signs indicating a right turn to Airport and Wagon Hill, which you should take.

From N11 Dundee

Pass Ladysmith (unless you need to go into the town) following all signs for Colenso and Estcourt. After passing over the Klip River and then descending a hill towards a concrete bridge there are signs indicating left to Wagon Hill and Airport. Follow them and go to ##

:- Follow the road towards Ladysmith and after the traffic inspection depot on the left you will see the rifle range on the slopes of Wagon Hill on the right. Take the signs straight on to the Town and after passing over a bridge you will see sign indicating Wagon Hill and Airport to the right which you should follow.

## Pass the airport buildings and continue up the dirt road past the cemetery and through the game fence gateway where you should turn right and then after about 1km you will find the event location.
